Disclaimer: The information below is speculation.The beta itself did not have a proper way to test the embellishments and informationon the Embellishments was lacking in the game files used for datamining, sothings are likely to change closer to the start of the season.We strongly recommend you wait with crafting until the start of Season 1.Check back here closer to Season 1 start for the latest suggestions on crafting.

Ontop of the above disclaimer, we also do not yet know if it is possible to craft Darkmoon Sigil: Vivacity on both your main-hand and off-hand. If it is notpossible to craft it on both, you will probably want to use it on off-handand get a higher item level main-hand from Raids or The Great Vault, and usethe second embellishment slot for either a Duskthread Lining or Duskthread Lining.

If our above assumptions are correct, you will want to crafta weapon and off-hand with Darkmoon Sigil: Vivacity, with Haste + Masteryas stats.

1. An Intellect main-hand weapon ( Scepter of Radiant Magics for example)with Darkmoon Sigil: Vivacity and Haste + Mastery.
2. Vagabond's Torch with Darkmoon Sigil: Vivacity and Haste + Mastery.
3. If we are not able to craft Darkmoon Sigil: Vivacityon both weapon and off-hand, craft Consecrated Cuffs or Consecrated Slippers. Both are effectively equal DPS,so pick whichever slot you have worse in.
4. Next, chase Item Level where needed. None of the crafted options aside fromyour first 2 will be best-in-slot, so just go for whichever slot gives you the biggestitem level bump.
5. At this point, you are mostly done crafting. You can spend future Sparks on off-spec items,alternatively statted crafts for different situations, and so on.

The Tier Set is comprised of 5 items of the Violet Rebirth set.Wearing 2, and 4 pieces from the set gives you DPS bonuses:

• Mage Arcane Season 1 2pc — Arcane Blast and Arcane Barrage damage increased by 6%.
• Mage Arcane Season 1 4pc —Casting Arcane Blast or Arcane Barrage has a 5% chance to make your next Arcane Barrage deal 20%increased damage and generate 4 Arcane Charges.

The Tier Set Bonus is absolutely mandatory for competitive play, and youshould prioritize obtaining it. You can use theMatrix Catalyst to convert regular items (from Mythic+, forexample) into Tier Items.

You only need 4 pieces out of 5 to get both set bonuses. We recommend youget all items except for the Helm, due to the crit.Check out the BiS List for more information.

The 2-set is a simple direct damage increase. The 4-set however,provides you with a very important proc, namely Intuition. This procallows you to immediately gain 4 Arcane Charges, which impacts when andhow we use Arcane Barrage. Generally, it means we can more aggressivelyuse Arcane Barrage, but there are some nuances to it. Check out ourrotation page to see how it plays combined with the rest of the rotation.
