Best Leveling Spec for Mage in The War Within
We recommend Arcane for most of your Mage Leveling needs. This is because Arcane does the highest damage while levelling, and hasdecent kiting capability.
Arcane Mage Leveling Guide
Both Frost and Fire are decent leveling specs as well. Especially Frosthas an immense amount of kiting potential, since every singlespell slows the enemies. Fire struggles at lower levels due to needinga bunch of talents to function properly, but at higher levels it becomesa good levelling spec.

Best Heirloom Items for Mage Leveling in The War Within
When purchasing Heirloom Items for Leveling in general, we recommendpicking the Heirloom items that have the highest amount of Haste possible.Haste speeds up the spec in almost every way, allowing you to quickly breezethrough your rotation, and move on to the next mob more quickly.
Haste is also useful for being a little bit quicker to tag mobs around you.A split second can make the difference between you getting a tag, or losingit to another player.
